Hi,
I just wanna thank all of you guys who clicked on my pictures. I just figured out that I have more than 1.000 pictures with more than 1.000 average views per picture and a total of more than 1.000.000 views on all my pics.
Wow. I haven't expect to reach this "special club" here at airliners.net.
There are just 17 other photographers in the database.
Thanks again, Mario Aurich
p.s.: sorry for this post. But I had to tell anyone... My girl-friend is not too interested in this.

Hello Mario,
No need to feel sorry for posting this thread, congratulations from my side!
Of course your job provides you great opportuneties for taking images like on jumpseats, etc which is not too common these days, but your 'normal' aircraft photos are great, too!
Thanks for sharing your work so far, and please keep uploading

Hey guys,
@Paul: yes, there IS no better way to fly. Well, you get an extra coke when I'm on board. Promised.
@Florian: Hey, this is what I really like on my job. Flying around the world. It's also my hobby. And during the layovers I can go to airports... I actually don't understand why not more flight or cabin crew members have this hobby.
Sometimes they just don't understand why I have to go to an airport on a day off abroad.
@chuck: Most of the girls can just not see the beauty of an aircraft. For them it's just "nice". For me it's always "breathtaking" and "gorgeous". Even after so many years I'm interested in aviation.
@Mark: Sometimes things can happen earlier than you expect.
@Sam: I'm still waiting to have you on board one day. Let me know when you travel with LH.
@Tobi: yes, we probably should next time.
Thank you very much again. I hope to see you on the field or on board one day.

Mario,
way to go. I had no doubt that you would become a member sooner or later.
Welcome to the club, but don't expect any perks though.
We talked about it before....the flight deck shots are getting better and better. I like those night ones....they came out pretty cool!
