I have an Ice Hockey photoshoot on Saturday and my lovely little kids have decided to lose my 512 mb compact flash card..... I have a 1gb card as well but without my 512 mb card im going to lose 167 photo's. I struggle with 1.5 gb already so to be down to only 1 gb is going to be a nightmare.... Im hoping it turns up as it has to be in my house somewhere. But after 3 hrs looking its still missing.
Hence my quastion....
Can anyone confirm any "cheap 24 hr delivery CF card" links. I normaly use 7dayshop (512 gb card £29.99) but there delivery is normaly 3 days due to them being in Guernsey.. Which is to late
All help most welcome !!!

Desperate time call for desparate measures... you could always try Dixons / Currys / PC World. I know, it really grates having to give money to these lackwits but like I say, desparate times mate!

Simon
I was going to e-mail you then saw Manzoori's post and I'd have to agree with him. I don't think you can get anything that fast from a supplier and if you did it may cost you as much when the Rapid Postage is added.

Yeah but i realy hate having to pay these (bs) prices in Dixons/PC World etc etc for a 512 mb card. When i could get a 1 Gb for the same price from 7dayshop.
I was just fishing in hope that i would not have to take that option and some nice person would know another cheap quick UK site !!

No its not Simon!!!
Try Ireland, the lenses I bought are double the price to NY and 40% more than the UK. Trust me!
But that doesn't mean that you have to pay over the odds for it either. I wish I could help you out but sorry mate. Good luck and keep us posted. Like to know if you find a cheap and fast delivery place.

Infact no. I was telling someone the story and how i was having to order a new card and they told me ###### has a point and click that uses CF cards and it would be worth giving him a call... I called him and he saved the day with the loan of a 256 mb card....... It was just about enough and the photo shoot went fine
And no my lost card has still not surfaced So im just going about ordering a new 1 gb card. That will give me a total of 2 gb. Then 2 spare 256 cards.
Cheers for asking

Hi Simon,
It probably depends on the type of memory you want to buy. I use Lexar Pro 80x and my latest one a 1Gb I bought through eBay in December for about £65. (£50 now). Mine came from NY with no problems in just over a week.

At the last minute no one has mentioned Jessops.
Prices are steep, but use the price match policy and you can get them vastly reduced. So I hear you can get a 1GB Lexar 80x at Jessops for the £72.90 picstop has them for as long as you take a printout of the price and they have them in stock.
