Have you ever found yourself with what you thought was the perfect shot, only to watch it get rejected after every time you re-process and re-upload? Have you found yourself scratching your head as to the rejection reason and wondering how you could have missed it? Have you even found yourself banging your head on the keyboard wondering how the screeners could see that microscopic dust spot that varies in color by +/- 1 hue from the blue sky backround?
Well I have (except the 3rd one). I just thought I'd share a success story. After two rejections, third time was the charm.

badcenter.
But seriously, nice shots. I've dealt with that a few times myself. I wont even mention my first 10 photos and what I had to do for them. lol

Nice shot, BA always looks good in front of a Colorado sky. I think the thing that makes that one so hard to get in though is that there are 58 other pictures of it already.
I did my part by adding 7 of them. All mine were on the ground though.

I'm not the kind of guy to make shameless plugs whenever the opportunity arrives... Oh wait, yes I am.
This was my all time fav shot, and I was sure it would pass the screening without any problems. In the end it was rejected for baddistance and quality.
And this one got rejected at least twice before getting accepted. I never made any improvements between the rejections, so I guess I caught the screener on a good day.

You got lucky this time, but the fact is that doing that you are wasting screeners' time and making the queue bigger. Do us all a favor and refrain from reuploading if you have not tried hard to improve your pictures.

1st try was bad quality, so I reworked it a bit. 2nd try was bad exposure (?!?), so I reworked it again. 3rd try made it. This shot was taken right after I converted to RAW. With RAW you can tweak exposure, white balance and even focus. Capture 1 is neat stuff!
Great shot Eric, hope you make your 100 soon and many more!

Now that I've plugged one of my photos, this thread is doomed. I give it an hour before it will vanish entirely.

hehe. Actually I'm not a member of that website, Rocky Mountain AvPhotos is a website that me, Kyle Matson, Jason Thacher, and Ryan Richter set up, featuring pictures from all over the rocky mountain region (and beyond), as well as a section of "guest" photographs (which is currently empty ).
It's still kind of under construction, photographer profiles will be added (right now mine is the only one), as well as airport info for DIA and probably Centennial.

...wow
First one, Badquality. The quality just isn't there. Badsoft, it's very soft. Badcenter, it's not centered. Badsize, reduce the size to 1024. Baddistance, the thing is way to far out and there's alot of dead space. BadExposure, it's backlit.
Second one, Badquality. The quality isn't at all there. Badlevel, it looks as if the aircraft is gonna slide off the frame. Badcenter, it's rediculously high in the frame. Badsoft: it's soft, BadManipulation, waaayy too much Neatimage, and finally, BadSize, it's waay too big.
After the second rejection, I just about gave up on it. It sat on my in my archives for a while, then one boring evening, I decided to play with it a bit.
The screener that rejected this one actually encouraged me to rework it and try again.

Quoting DLKAPA (reply 20): NICE! Hey what time does the E170 come in?
On Saturdays the E170 arrives from ORD around 12:15pm and 7:00pm. Departures from ABQ to ORD are at 8:00am and 1:30pm. I'm only sure about the 12:15 arrival and 1:30pm departure because I've witnessed it myself. The other times came from United.com.
As for other days, I haven't got a clue but we only see the 170s from ORD.
