Hi there chaps,

Just a post to make some people aware (if they weren't already) that 7dayshop.com seem to be having a clear out of the 300D. Priced at £399 for the body (silver only) and £449 with the 18-55 EF-S lens (Black or Silver).

300D Link

To me this is a bargain, for all of those people that can't quite stretch for the 350D/20D etc.  Smile

Regards,
Justin Big grin

I've been wanting to get a 300D/Digital Rebel for over a year now. I finally picked one up about 3 weeks ago for $850 CAD, (about £350) as a kit, brand new and from a major electronics store.  Smile

And there's me thinkiing that the offer at Dixons was good (£499 for body and 18-55mm lens)!

That's getting into midrange territory. Seriously good value for someone wanting to break into DSLR's. Another £110 quid and you can get a MKIII USM 75-300; all you need to go shooting planes.

It takes a big man to admit they are wrong, and I am not a big man.

That's technology for you! I see it going down even more in time. When Dixons (as some may know I work there), brought out the 300D, it was £899 with the 18-55mm lens, and now it is nearly half that price! There are also a whole bunch of other cameras (mainly point and shoot) which have gone down in price dramatically (i.e. Sony Cybershot cameras)!
