I may have the opportunity of going to Bologna in April. I was there many years ago (1997) when the terrace was still open (now closed). However, there were also many good vantage points around the airport. By Italian standards, photography then aws no problem at all. I notice that there are few recent shots on Airliners taken there. Have things changed? Does anyone have experience of the current situation there, and the attitude of the local police or airport police?

The Bologna expert is a local photographer and contributor to several aviation publications whom you can find on an Italian forum here:
which will bring you to the user list, just click on the name Freesurfer. You can then click on "Messaggio privato" to send him a message. He's the man on all matters regarding BLQ. He speaks English, of course. Good luck at BLQ!
