Hi all,

It is now possible to buy First Class days with your earnings from the photo sales.

We also double the days you would normally get for the same amount!

Have a look here:
http://www.airliners.net/myphotos/

Regards,
Henrik

Fantastic, but what happens if you are an existing FC member, and you use some photo sale monies to acquire FC days... Does the normal direct debit that I have set up become cheaper for that month?

Cheers,

Justin, if you have a PayPal subscription you must cancel it or PayPal will send us money monthly anyway!

If you have an existing First Class membership which is paid already for some time, your days will simply be added to your account. It won't ever override already paid time.

No, we can not show which individual shots are sold yet.

The more photos you have for sale, the more earnings you get. We hope that this will make photo sales useful for those of you not selling that many photos a month.

Photo sales is added to our statistics monthly about the 10th each month.

Important: If you buy First Class membership this way your account will never be inactivated! If you have an old account, photographer or a premium account for example, your account will go back to that state immediately when the time expires! This means no expensive upgrade/downgrades are needed back to premium accounts etc. Note that this is a photographer feature only!

Regards,
Henrik

From the myphotos page. I suppose this is supposed to read something along the lines of "We double your days". Or does the photographer get the whole profit (including airliners') if we sign up for this?

To be correct, the earnings from photo sales shown is always the photographers part. If you pay $5 it's valid for 1 month, but if you use $5 from your photo sales to pay for it you get 2 months instead.

If you count backwards it's the same as saying that you get First Class membership for all earnings from photo sales (including Airliners.net's share).

Henrik

After seeing the figures run by another a.netter who for his own protection shall remain nameless (unless he speaks for himself), I don't think I'll be putting my photos up for sale on this site... Net income for the photographer I think is around 2% a photo.

I have to disagree. I bought two of my pictures to see what the quality is like and paid 80 pence for on which I think is about $1.20 and for that day in my photo sales it says my earnings for that day were 55 Cents per picture. so pretty close to 50%.

How about a "how many days I have left in the membership' feature? That can help.

How much A is there is Airliners Net ? 0 or nothing ?

Henks,
great Feature!
Would it maybe be possible to only buy a certain amount of days of membership?
Maybe a chance to split into monthly portions, or something like a 50, 100, 200
days buy?

Anyway,
keep those cool things coming!

best regards, Denis

Henks, I've bought some additional First Class days - it's a nice feature, thank you.

What's about Codeshare's idea belonging the "how many days left in the membership" feature? I think this will be a fantastic idea!
