These are rough numbers but it appears as though the new LH Retro Jet has been photographed 30 times in one day (April 1, 2005) by roughly 20 photographers, and at 4 different airports (FRA, MUC, DUS, HAM). Talk about a show of support!

Is this a record in terms of number of pictures of one a/c in so many places in one day? It seems as though there was a photo of this a/c at every stage of its routes today...

Thanks & Great Shots!

Hi Matt,

there were at least 40 photographers around at HAM yesterday morning, although it was eight o'clock in the morning when D-AIRX departed.

Both terrraces at DUS were said to be packed with photographers, I don't know about MUC and FRA, but I guess there were several photographers around, too.

All came together yesterday: beautiful weather, a great and new aircraft and finally four airports with large spotting communities.

Matt and Frank,

in Frankfurt there were about 50 photographers yesterday morning, when D-AIRX arrived. Many of them have been there very early to get the best places with their ladders in the first row - but there aren't any FRA pics from starting Retro-Jet, because it didn't use RWY 18 like most of us expected, but RWY 07R along both terminals and the visitor terrace.

Although missing the take-off, it was a great day yesterday in Frankfurt.
