My question is when I submitted them to a.net, did they have any sort of chance at all? The second one I can kinda see why it didn't make it, but the first one I thought was one of those shots where its not as good as most but still just might make it.

Do you think they had a chance? Are they worth trying again? Are they fixable? What did I do wrong?

Thanks alot

What were they rejected for? Looks like the first one was rejected for baddistance, badquality, and maybe badquality, badmotiv for the second one.

Why grab a Heine when you can grab a Busch?

James,
I'm sorry but I would say they don't have a chance. The first one is much too far away, the second one is against the sun with window reflections. Also there is not enough from the wing on the photo.

Even if cropped, number one would probably get slapped with badquality.

Just my humble opinion.

Thanks,

Matt

I like the second one. It's a neat perspective which is strictly forbidden on a.net. Too bad there's such thing as badmotive.  hissyfit

Yes I like the second one. Though with window frame, the photo makes me sitting into your seat and overlook the beautiful Whistler.  Smile
