Hi Fergul,
My monitor shows a slightly overexposed nose.
Also a bit soft.
It is a nice shot, so I guess it is worth a try.
Good luck,
Ander

Hey Fergul,
I'd agree with the overexpossed issue, it is just too bright in general. I like the smokey touch down though, hope you can get it accepted.

Hi Fergul,

nice shot but it does look slightly overexposed on the nose and the tail area does look soft. If you look at the white SAS marking on the tail they almost appear slightly blurred. Probably a combination of the two giving the bad quality rejection.

Good luck and good to see you at MAN over the weekend.

Jid.

Agree with the others. To bright/over expossed. Maybe can be saved with levels and selective color. But maybe not. Also a bit soft on the tail... Great motiv though... Love the smoke....

On meeting other members. Well i meet up with an old ex A.Net favourite yesterday. I was at the Popham Jodel flyin and i bumped into none other than Colin K Work (CKW). He's very well and enjoying life with Air Team Images. Also he now has a 1D (not sure what model) + he's using a new type of Canon Lens. (Green ring) rather than the red for L. I think their called DO but their half the size of a normal lens and very lightweight... Sorry but could not catch all the details due to the aircraft landing  Smile

The fly in was superb with perfect weather. There were almost 100 aircraft present and the atmosphere was brilliant with hundreds of people present. Why cannot every airfield be like Popham... Got some cracking shots as well Big grin
