I've had a request for a photo in a format of 300DPI but can't say that I'm too clued up on what this equates to in terms of image quality. Is there a formula involving DPI and image size?Is 300DPI roughly the standard for a print?
Thanks a lot,Alex

The information that you have been supplied may be partial, DPI stands for Dots Per Inch so to translate into pixels x pixels we need a size. A standard 6 x 4 photograph at 300dpi would require 6 x 300 and 4 x 300 size image. 1800 x 1200 size photograph would equal 6 x 4 at 300dpi.

Hope this helps
