Goodday everyone  Smile,

Im looking for a Fish-Eye lens (have looked on internet already) and im wondering which would be best for my 300D. Price aside just want to know which is good and if anyone had any experience with the lens.

Let me know what you guys think!

There's the Canon 15mm 2.8 and the Sigma 15mm that come to my mind without having a search.

The Canon one is more expensive, of course...

If you want an extreme fish eye, I would go for the sigma 8mm. I have seen some sample images taken with it, and I was impressed! Useful for very creative things, since it has a 360° field of vision (not sure if it will on your 300D though).

I guess that's what happens in the end, you start thinking about the beginning.

Actually the Sigma 8mm Fisheye lens has 180 degrees FOV. It would be impossible to get 360 degrees FOV. I bought the Peleng (Russian) 8mm Fisheye lens because it was the cheapest solution that produces good results. Its fully manual though... :S

I can strongly recommend the Sigma 15mm fish eye Nick.
