Thank you very much!
I will be at the airport tomorrow morning at 5:00.
I hope that they will have some delay and arrive at 6 or later...
Thanks again!

Good old OJC could request permanent residency at Frankfurt ... it spends so much time there ....
This bird seems to follow me around anyway ... Obviously we see it here in Sydney quite often ... then we went to Auckland and it showed up 2 days in a row ... then at FRA ... latest encounter was at LHR about 3 weeks ago ... surely saw it before at SIN , too !
Andrew, what was the highest number of QF planes you ever saw at SIN at the same time on the ground ? I think my record is about 7 or 8 .... SIN could be called Little Sydney !!!!

Hi Andrew,
the last time i went via SIN (which was about 2 weeks ago) we had both 747 SP, at least 1 747-200 (VH-ECC), 2 or 3 B.767-300 and a few B.747-400 ...
Looking at the departure monitor makes u feel like u are in Oz, too .... about 5 or 6 flights to SYD, 2 or 3 to MEL + all the other like BNE / CNS and Perth ...
If you wanna see more QF ... just come across to SYD .. we'll take good care of ya !

Hello,
I planed to drive to the airport but I checked out her arrival time and saw that it was inbound for 4:57a.m. (scheduled 5:35), so I decided to stay in bed because there would be not enough light for taking pictures. Anyway, a friend of mine drove to the airport and told me that she came in at 5:20...
I hope to have more luck with the 743 on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays that arrive at 6:40. Maybe I will catch Nalanji one day on finals...
Today, I had my american exchange student here and I showed him the airport. After seeing the 1st 747 last year I saw the SQ 744 No.1000 taking off on 18W today.
Anyway, thanks for your info Bradley! I really appreciate this kind on information!
Regards from FRA,
Ivica
btw: I hope your pics will turn out nice, Andrew! Keep up the good work!

I must sat Andrew, that is one of THE best photos of VH-OJC I have seen. The angle, lighting and of course the aircraft with BA engine nacelle have all fallen into place. And to top it off the quality of the photo is brilliant.
Congrats on such a great photo and lets hope you can keep it up

I saw her when she departed off Rwy 20R at night. Though it is not a photo taking condition at night, seeing it again doesn't kill right Glad to meet him in Singapore again! Thanks for the notice, Luftaom! Hope to get more notice from you.

Hi everyone,
I'm italian and I was in Frankfurt on that day too. I saw the F-1 744 at the terminal in the early morning, and I had no chance to take any picture at all. Really a shame.
I would like to ask some of you Fra spotters how do you take pictures in the early morning (if you do), like at 7.00 when the light is good only looking West, but not on the runways. I missed the China 343 for the same reason and I got really pissed off!
And Luftaom, thanks a lot for the info anyway. I would love to catch the Wunala Dreaming somewhere here in Europe and infos like yours are really helpful.

Hi,
I didn´t drive to the airport because it should arrive at 4:57a.m. Sometimes I´m at the airport at 5a.m. That day they were arriving on 25R/L. There´s no problem with the sun. But you are right, facing west is the best in the morning when they touch down on 07L/R like from Monday to Friday this week. Then you can take pics of a/c on finals as well as pics of a/c taking off from 18W from the same position.
I´m sorry that you could not take a picture of it at the gate. But a friend of mine told me that all ramp tours were for free that day. Next time you visit Frankfurt you should do a ramp tour and you will get the chance to take pictures of aircrafts parked out there.

Andi,
maybe it is boring you to see VH-OJC so often but it will arrive in Singapore from Frankfurt tomorrow again... Today it was delayed (4hours) and do you know where I was? Sure, sleeping until 12...

Ivica
