Hi there,
search returns only 10 photos from Centrair and only 6 (yes, literary six) taken after it had opened.
Why so few? It's already been good couple of months since it had opened, it does have good spotting facilities (as I have read), it is located in Japan (one of the most spotter-friendly countries with strong local spotting community), gathers much attention because of Expo, so where is the cause of this low number?

There's very few Japanese photographers that upload to this site.
Many Japanese can't read English very well either.
Just notice how many Japanese flags are on the forum.
Though, many Japanese are aware of this site and frequently view the new pics.
Currently, I only shoot photos in slides and prints. I don't have a scanner, so up loading to this site is a problem.
Next, many spotters not from the NGO region are staying away from NGO because it's still a madhouse with huge numbers of general public coming to the airport. (Myself included) The viewing facilities, from what I hear, are excellent, however, shots toward the runway do not have good light for a good chunk of the day. (Bad light from 1100 onwards)
