Hey folks,

ok im determind to get some pictures on a.net one of these days, so instead of uploading them n waiting for failing (wasting the screeners time) i am going to ask for help and advice in here.

I want to learn how to do all the editing needed (sharpening etc) so any pointers would go down very well.

how would the following do?

what do i need to do to get the db (if they good enough)
even advice on taking better shots etc..
Using Kinica Monita Diamage Z1

Cheers

David

but I don't think photo #3 has a chance by the time you level the horizon. Also 4 is questionable, but I do believe 1 and 2 could get on, if of course you got room to work with (crop), and the quality is there in the large version.

David,

First of all, if you can, link ( note: link, not post - they make the thread slower to load on slow connections ) some photos with size 1024 pixels or wider, so we can judge the quality. You can't see wether one photo is good enough quality on the small photos in the original post.

The workflow Jason linked above is a good way to start editing.

For ba1.jpg, I see some serious impacts by heat haze which I couldn't fix. That probably won't be accepted by A.Net. Others look good, just need to put some editing efforts.  Smile

I opened up the easyjet photo and did a quick post-process on it. Here's what I got... a bit grainy though.  Confused

Hi, Jason,

I also edited this one for David, and sent it to him. Obviously yours looks better than mine.  blush

This is a really rash edit. Even I myself could see jaggies out there. To be honest, I'm not that optimistic.

Hello Simon

I said I would have a go tommorow. I changed the colour, sharpened it,and NOW leveled it out. I don't actually think the 1st one needs much editing, just a good crop.

Simon, U know I'm only a begginer myself, I just though I'd try, no harm in that.
