Hello,

First of all I hope this is the right forum. I will be flying tomorrow to MIA and I have to buy some photography equipment.

Can some recommend me any store in Miami (Canon lenses) where I can buy...

I will be staying in Miami Beach (Four Points) so if someone knows something close to it I will apreciate it  Smile

Many thanks!

DARIO

hi,

In the past I have used national chains such as : Circuit City and B & H .

you can find a local Circuit City in miami beach. check their websites. also check Best Buy (local stores available)

there are plenty of electronic stores downtown (in the neighborhood of Bayside-which is a tourist mall). these store line the streets and promise deals but if you dont know your equipment and warrantes,I wouldn't trust them.

i am sure others can give you advice, too

good luck.

Circuit City stocks dSLRS and some canon lenses, nothing L series and very few ultrasonic. You may want to try a wolf/ritz camera though. The locations can be found at www.ritzcamera.com

I will be responding to your email tonight when I get home from work, are you going to do any spotting tommorow in MIA?

DARIO:

Go to Wolf Camera www.wolfcamera.com

They have a nice one at Dadeland Mall [far from M.B. if you don't have transportation]. Or call 1 800 555 1212 and ask for their toll free number.

You can also check out Pitman Photo Supply located at 13911 S. Dixie Highway (US1), phone 305-256-9558 or 800-252-3008 if you're out of town. It's the largest locally owned photo business in Miami and they've been here for over 70 years. They carry a good selection of Canon and Nikon lenses and cameras.

Is this the one close to "The Falls"?

It's close to the Falls, yes. They recently moved. I think they were north of the Falls and on the west side of US1 before and now they're south and on the east side. A really nice sized store, much larger than the typical mall photo store.
