I know many of you have ten times as good of a camera as I do, but I'm stuck with what my parents bought. This Fuji S3000 is all I have for aircraft photography, and now it seems as though it's broken. If anyone has ever had this camera, or still owns it, that can help me, please listen. Every time I hit the toggle switch from off to the "view pictures" option, it works fine. But as soon as I switch to the other action selection from where I take the pictures, the camera shuts off on me. I can't figure out why, and it's not because of the batteries. I'm desperate for any help because I am going to the McGuire Airshow this weekend and the camera is what I live by. Please, if you can help me out, I need all I can get. Thanks.

This won't fix your camera, but you'll at least be able to take pics at the airshow: see if you can rent a camera for the weekend. Many locally owned stores will rent equipment for $50 to several hundred dollars a week.

I appreciate everyone's response in trying to help me. I called Fuji, and found out that after a certain point the battery power keeps the camera from switching to the action mode, so that it can prevent any damage to the card? In anyway, my battery power was too low even though the battery light didn't come on the screen. Thanks again for all your help.
