Sorry for adding to the long list of topics questioning the rejections, but I was wondering what the screener was going by...

Thanks for your help in advance

Needs some CW rotation, I'd say.

Cheers.

Taking the vertical white line at the right as reference, 0.7degrees CW rotation would be needed.

No rotation needed imo. Lines straight here. However plane is off-center and maybe you forgot to check hybrid-category?

what seems to be the officer, problem?

I would go with what Florian said. Rotate it according to the vertical line underneath the right wing tip.

Chris, they are not actually. The white lightpole and the line on the right are leaning to the left, hence the badcameraangle rejection.
The references on the left have a 'vertical' impression because they are too short. If they'd be longer ( like the right reference line ) you'd see the photo is not level.

cheers,
Florian

I would have thought of this as passable, usually better to measure verticals at the center of the image.

The verticals are fine. If anything it needs a slight CW rotation.

Support Airliners.net - become a First Class Member!

Verticals in the RH 2/2 of image are out.

Definately needs a slight CW rotation, but don't overdo it.

Thanks for the help. This is another example of the difference between screeners, which is fine, but can be difficult at times  Silly ... I'll fix it right away, and re-upload it. Thanks again!

The pic looks fine for me.

Now let's talk turkey ... I wonder why there's not more tolerance with these level things ... we'll all end up blind because of staring into our monitors to level the pics to 1/100 deg ...

Well... I believe it was one of them in one of a few batches that made it past the first screening, so therefore at least 2 screeners, screened it, and I'm not sure whether Tamsin, was one of them.

Simple, because it is one thing that can always be fixed correctly.

Ok can ANYONE please rotate it for me, and send me the rotated version to jason.depodesta@gmail.com or just post here. You can even tell me how much to rotate it by. I'd love to see this shot in my A.net collection, and I believe it meets the sites standards. Thanks for all the help!!

Ok...while we're on the subject I'll jump into this debate.

I have this in the queue :-

The tower is pretty vertical but the stair housing to the right is obviously not (and in reality is not at all vertical anyway) - my question is this - How do screeners look on this kind of shot where some "verticals" are less vertical than others?

I added a "note to the screeners" when I uploaded it but would appreciate any thoughts from anyone with an opinion.

Regards,
Dean / JT
