Did anyone spotting at SYD approx 13:00 -13:30 June 13, catch the USAF KC-10 that appeared headed that way?
Passed Western Sydney lowlevel at approx 13:00 on a track that made sense if transiting from RAAF Richmond (RCM) to SYD
Sadly I was standing in my father's driveway and cameras(and scanner) were locked up in car.. thought at first it was FedEx MD-11 but colour and boom were a giveaway!!!

Apparently it's the weekly Richmond flight which diverted here due to brake and/or oil problems.

Gabriel,
Surprised me that it was a KC10 though. I guess as many times that flight is only a courier flight rather than heavy freight, a KC10 could handle the load and with the retirment of the C-141 fleet and the activity in the middle East this would free up a C-17 for the real work.
I wondered if it might have done a fighter drag for "Talisman Sabre".
