Why Are There No Cabin View Photos Of AA 762?

I am trying to find pictures in airliners.data base -- specifically pictures of American Airlines 767-200 interior cabin. Do you know why there is none in database? Could it have been misplaced somewhere in the database? Many thanks.

I don't know if this is true or not, but I've heard before that AA isn't very friendly about allowing cabin shots.

Perhaps because none have been uploaded...

AA has a no-photography policy now. I'm not sure how long it's been in effect, but it probably has something to do with the lack of photos.

I just checked, and there are a few window shots from AA 762's, so there are still some shots taken from inside, just not any showing the cabin.

Someone asked this very question a few months ago. I found a few in a flyertalk trip report, and posted them here. Since then I have been unable to find the original flyertalk thread or the one I posted here. An extensive forum search might turn up the thread though.

Yeah AA suck with their no photography policy. Sometimes if the F/A's are nice you can shoot a few off but beware of attracting the attention of the over-zelous sky marshalls lol. Ill try and get a few cabin shots from my upcomming AA flights: 777/A300/757/ATR72/763 Smile

I wasn't aware of such a policy. Seems strange, because they definitely have no problem with flight deck shots (I'm working to upload one I took over the weekend), outside shots while entering the plane, and shots through the windows in-flight. I've never had any remarks, and I am sure F/A's saw me working with a camera on several occasions. I guess it depends on how suspicious you look Wink

But then again, I've never tried a cabin view.

I flew on an AA 762 about a week ago (N338AA), and the interior was immaculate. I should have really taken some cabin/cockpit shots...

LIke others have said AA does have a pretty strict approach to taking pictures. It all depends on the flight attendant. Ive had some that dont mind at all while one told me I cant take a picture out of the window - which is incorrect.

All I have right now is one shot of First Class prior to departure to JFK. If your wondering, first was empty....just myself and a friend. Ill have to dig through my stuff and see if I have any others.
