Hi everyone,

I know a lot of you probably know a couple of good sites on which you can put your images up and then make a link to it from this forum for questions such as: "Should I upload this shot?" and alike. However, I don't have a clue where I would go to upload my pics. So I was just wondering, if those that do know about such sites, would be able to help me out. Any type of help will be kindly appreciated.

Cheers,
Sebastian

Hey Sebastian,

I put mine in a folder on my own site until I decide or people help me decide to upload!!

The only other place that I can suggest would be to open an account at http://www.photobucket.com (I think that is the link!) You can link to photos through that.

Hope this helps.

Martin

Another site you might want to try is www.imageshack.us. I believe you can upload larger sized files than at Photobucket (without paying for registration). If you do sign up though, keep the email they send you because it is the only way to access your photos and add/delete your images.

www.photopic.net will host up to 250Mb free and monthly charges beyond this are quite reasonable.

Hi,

Its www.fotopic.net  Wink

The only problem with that site is, it can spoil the quality of your Photos.

Thanks very much you guys. I'll be shooting at FRA this weekend, so next week I might actually share a couple of the photos with you for pre-screening purposes.

Cheers,
Sebastian

I have had very good experiences with photobucket. Easy to use and a bargain (IMO).

Thanks IAH777,

if you say bargain, what exactly do you mean? For free, or not?

Sebastian

imageshack.com is great. It's free unless you wan't to upload pictures in zip files instead of doing them one by one. Plus, you can have as many pictures as you want I believe in your MyPictures section on the website.

Hey, I like fotopic. Might get a premium membership.
Photobucket is not that good because, unless I'm mistaken, it downsizes all the photos you upload to it. It does for me anyway.

My first upload to fotopic. Badmotiv, badcrop, badmanipulation, badlevel, badcameraangle, but hey, I was only mucking around. I kinda like it.

On photobucket, I pay $9 for 3 months, which gives you unlimited storage space and file size. There is a free side, but it limits your storage and size.

And they don't change your image at all, Capt.

I must be doing something wrong then because all my 1024 x 683's are downsized to about 512 x 342 or somewhere around there.

Capt, I find photobucket downsize any of my pics that are larger than 1024 X 683. All my"normal" sized pics stay the same.
