Quoting FlyAUA (Reply 5): The Aeromexico picture is BEAUTIFUL. Nice pics Alonsou
Thanks dude! I think it was worth getting up at 3 am to be there at 5. I was really not willing to go to the aiport at that hour, but it ended up being one of the most enjoyable spottings i've ever had.

A bit arrogant eh? Your pictures aren't anything special IMHO...same angles, same types of shots that you see in almost EVERY a.net shot. I rather see interesting shots and angles of lesser quality (makes the shots look more alive) than pictures that are taken by the book that look like a cheap prostitute all dressed up with nowhere to go.
The pics that FlyAUA and KLM685 posted are more real to life and have character to them, especially the pics KLM685 posted (why was the cabin shot rejected... those are rare shots).

Thanks for praising those pictures. I will admit though, I never made them for a.net nor did I ever think of submitting them cus I already know the answer. Those pictures are made purely out of boredom, and for myself. But I thought it would be funny to have a thread where we could post our pictures which the screeners would think "sucked"

That's how I started and now i'm all obssesed with getting good pictures, first for my personal joy and second to see if they get to a.net :P I'm really not into photoshoping the pictures, cuz i don't know how to use it. So my pics are 100% original.

The unknown 4X-ICL belongs to CAL Cargo Airlines from Israel.
Thanks for the response... I was wondering. Those pilots did not care that I was standing right there. Grumpy gits! The Cargolux pilots at least bothered to pull down on the throttles (and they waved!!!), hehehe

Yeah exactly, that's one of the things that's not helping me. All of my pictures are taken with a Nikon Coolpix 4300. excellent for parties, friends, trips, family, whatever. but not for the purpose

I use a Kodak CX7430 which has a lot of features for a digicam... but the one I want (which will enable me to make proper pics) costs EUR2000. And since I am saving for a new Dell computer, it'll be a while before I get the camera!

I'm going for something big as well. Fortunately i'm not saving for a computer ( mine is still new), but UNFORTUNATELY I have to save for a trip to SAT for my Irish Dancing competition, for a trip to BOS to see friend,cousin,friend..., trip to Luxembourg (lol, just kiddin).
Tons of trips I want to make... :P The new camera has to make good debuts
