Hi all,
Was just scanning through Easyjet's new winter seats now available and have found some good deals and good flight times to Toulouse, Rome (Ciampino) and Venice.
Was just wondering if anyone here has been to any of these airports and can provide info as to whether or not you would recommend a trip to any of them, if a car is required etc?
Any help is much appreciated
Cheers
Ben Pritchard
EDIT
Does anyone know if it is feasable to get to FCO from Ciampino?

Hi Ben,
I went to Venice on holiday earlier this year with EasyJet. Forget the airport, just go and appreciate this unique city.
On the way home, I was able to take some photos from inside the terminal, through the glass, which was very clean and amenable to photography, unlike many British airports. It was evening (it was early Spring) and the colours were lovely.

TLS is pretty quiet, apart from the odd Airbus movement which is very nice.
If you go to TLS make sure its for a few weekdays, theres very few if any Airbus training flights at the weekend so it can get very quiet.
There are a few good spots but you will need a car. Let me know if you do decide to go and I'll give further details.

I live near Venice and spot there. Have some pic in the db. For spotting I suggest you Rome whcih ahs much more space available and the weather is usualy far more better than here.

Ben,
Although there are photos on the d/b taken at FCO, I seriously wouldn't bother due the authorities take a dim view of photographers/spotters due to various terrorist related incidents at FCO over the years. The locals may get away with it (photography etc) but I doubt a young man from Southern England will!!
