For those that have pics published in Flug Revue, did you get an email with a form attached to fill out for payment (bank acct info, etc..)?

Just checking as I want to be sure it's from FR before filling it out...

Congrats on the 1st pic Glenn!

Mike

Yes I got an email asking for a BIC code, I have no idea what this is, anyone got any ideas?

Not sure what that is. Guess it's the same as a Routing Number?

BTW was the email from a Gabriele? Just want to make sure I'm sending the info to someone that actually works at FR.

Up until 2002, if a company needed to make payments to you from overseas they'll want at a bare minimum your acc. no., sort code, and routing code. Without a routing code the first two don't mean anything.

This has been supplemented (and replaced in some countries) with the IBAN and BIC (bank identifier code) system, as it's apparently more efficient.

Simply ring your bank and they will provide you with all of them, if need be.

Cheers

James

P.S. Well done Glenn!

Hi all

Good news Glenn.

I've had an image published in Flug Revue too, issue December 2002, two page spread  Smile

A nice magazine but a pity all in German language.

Regards

Gary

Glenn, congrats mate. Check any bank correspondence you may have lying around, you're sure to find the IBAN and BIC on that. (May depend on which bank you're with though...).

You know the gear is up and locked when it takes full throttle to taxi to the terminal.

Very nice. Its a nice feeling to sale a shot then see it in print. I had a shot that was in the running for the cover of Flug Revue's Lufthansa Anniversary issue. I didn't get that but have had 2 sales to magazines since then.  Smile ALMOST enough to buy a 17-40L. Big grin

Congrats,
Danny
