Could use some advice .

I had set my mind on the Canon 20D as my new D-SLR, but ... in all test the image quality of the Fuju S3Pro is rated very good, better then the rest ... one issue ...it uses Nikon Lenses .. are they as good as the Canon lenses, with our without stabilizer.

So two questions:
- is the S3 Pro a recommended camera by any means ? Any one experience ?
- how good are Nikon lenses?

What test are you referring to? And it sounds like you don't really believe it.

DPReview gives "Above Average" in conclusion of the in-depth review to S3 Pro.

Canon 20D obtains "Highly Recommended" in its review conclusion.

I do believe it ... many refer to as "picture quality excellent" , function/feature/weight etc , less shocking ... will check the recommended test

It's useless for aviation imo. The camera house and AF-system is a few generations old. It does produce nice files... Good for portraits/weddings etc. But for planes... nah.

what seems to be the officer, problem?

Not to mention price comparison. S3 is way too pricey for what it is.
