No Chris, it wasn't.

It was only a small copyright text on it.

The pros and cons have been discussed a lot in these threads:

so I won't start it all over again, but in brief;
No, it won't stop sites like this from stealing our shots.
But it will make the images less interesting to steal.

That's hard to say, but since none of the images used in this case were watermarked it could have helped. We just don't know until we try, do we ?

Yeah.....well ....what's new?..Another one to the list.

Perhaps a invoice for a billion million $ will solve this problem as some people wishfully expect.

Sorry to see some rogue using your pictures!

Unfortunately, we dont take any precautions so this will continue to happen at will. I guess an optional watermark is STILL a dream.

I haven't.

At least my emails aren't bouncing anymore, but without any reply or action from them it's quite frustrating.

I finally got hold of the responsible people on this site, and
after today's phonecall the page has been shut down.

Hurray!

It wasn't likely to get any money out of them, so I settled for having the photos removed, and they complied quickly.
