Howdy All.
My dad and I are in Seattle from today through Thursday, I happened upon the blue angels landing today at BFI, apparently for the SeaFair.
Who will be shooting the angels? When are the practices? etc, etc?
I will definetely be free Thursday afternoon, and it would be cool to meet up with some of you guys.

I will be around in the morning hours, but not usually when the angels fly, the sun is too high in the sky.

F9, go down south of the I-90 bridge, on the West side of Lake Washington, and get them on Thursday. They practice twice that day between 11 and 2:30 (not the entire time). I'll be down there on Friday, and elsewhere in the Seattle area Sat and Sun. They are usually pretty loose in formation on Thursdays, but on Friday they start reeling it in. If you want take offs, go to the Museum of Flight parking lot. Bring something tall, like the roof of a rental car to stand on.

I went down this evening. Perfect lighting....DHL and two UPS planes taking off in perfecting lighting. A pretty brisk headwind made them pull up early. I was on the roof of our car in the parking lot by the tower. (Midfield Park?) Got some great lift off shots of them nose on. That has to be one of the best spots I have ever seen... Saw the worldliner and drooled, though it was not shootable. I also caught the WestJet 737-600 but by the time I get back to DEN Thursday night, I'll probably miss inclusion on Royal's banner,
I can't really get out in the mornings, busy tomorrow and thursday. But our Everett tour ends at 10:30 on Thursday, so we'll probably head down after that.

Any way I could get more detailed directions? I don't know my way around too well.
