40. Can I send in portrait format pictures?
Yes you may send in portrait format pictures, but they have to be at least ..... pixels high and ..... pixels wide and should not exceed .... pixels in height and ..... pixels in width

41. May I send in pictures showing people
Yes you may send in pictures showing people (of course the plane has to bee the main object). If its showing people you must either proove that you´ve got the permission from the people to be shown on the net or the picture must fall into the following exceptions
a....
b....
....
which we have here on a.net for uploading pictures showing people.

Comments?

Good idea! The portrait format one is definately needed - as there is obviously confusion about what size these pics should be.

I also have another little idea reagarding the FAQ. When we were talking about pre-screening the other week, Johan was commenting that there were lots of pictures that were submitted where the user obviously hadn't read the FAQ, because they were too small/large etc. etc. Johan, how about adding a small check box to the top (or bottom) of the upload page saying "I confirm I have read the upload FAQ", and then put a link to the FAQ immediately underneath. This *might* make more new uploaders read it before uploading obviously unsuitable pictures, if they have to actually check a box before uploading.

About the question nº 40, isn't this statement on the upload page enough?

"Please note: If your photo is wider than 1024 pixels or higher than 768 pixels it will be downsized and that might lower the picture quality."

For portrait photos the height must not be more than 768 pixels. I think it's clear or am I missing something here?

Luis
