Hello folks,

Just saw the most popular photo for today; it was a klm 737 with a new special scheme.

Yesterday I shot this bird 'in action' and beside this most popular photo there aren't photos of this 737 in the database yet.

I have my concerns especially about the vegetation which is disturbing the view on the engine; what do you think?

Hey martijn,

Yes, I think the vegetation is disturbing the photo. Too bad, because it's a nice shot! I shot the same aircraft yesterday morning. Were you already present at that time?

Kas

Hi Martijn

As Kas mentioned, vegetation would give it badmotive but also the image is soft with some chromatic abberation.

Regards

Gary

Yes! left home at 7 am, was hoping to catch some morningsun as the forecast was most cloudy for AMS that day...

Gary thank you for the remarks, I noticed I didn't remove all chromatic abberation. To repair badsoft in this photo is much more difficult, probably not possible.

Well, conditions weren't that good saturday morning after the clouds came in. A bit dark and dull, leaving us with higher iso and longer shutterspeeds.  Smile

The 737 came in at 8:48. I am not really impressed with these promotion stickers btw.

This is my attempt:

In fact, when it was about to land I thought the fuselage was seriously damaged or burned...

That's the best one so far Kas, but why didn't you level the shot?

It needs 0.55 degrees rotation clockwise.

Kind regards,
Erwin
