Well I spent the day at JFK shooting with Matt (Cancidas) He is heading down to see the new US/HP livery rollout at PHL. I believe it will be an A319 or A320. I imagine some anetters will be there. Some ramp side, some not. I personally can't wait to see the first pic here! I assume that the pics that get uploaded will get priority. I think Mikephotos will be there as well. Good luck to all. I myself hope Matt gets the first pic into the DB. He deserves it. I will be watching tomorrow! Anyone else going to be there?

I know many A.net photographers will be out there. It's going to be all about who can shoot it, edit it real quick good enough to get on, and upload it. I don't know what Matt's flight plans are after the shoot but I think the PHL locals may have a home field advantage over an out-of-towner. Good luck to everyone goin out there, especially my homie, PHLApproach!

Well Matt will have his notebook and he will be rampside so he has a good chance. I am pulling for him! I hope he can get it uploaded, accepted and then get top of the day! I wish I could be there  mad

Congratulations to Mr.Irish on a great photo. The livery is ok I guess. I have always thought it was blah to begin with. Now it is a little nicer.

Hi all,

Looks pretty good, I did really like the previous US Airways colours though.

Hopefully they will give an A333 a coat of the new paint scheme soon and send her over to LGW on a sunny morning  yes

Cheers

Yep, was there. I stuck around to get a few shots of departing aircraft and a much needed UPS MD-11 takeoff shot. Here are my shots of the new livery....

We got lucky with the weather, it was perfect. It's never perfect for these kinds of events.

Hey Mike  wave

Awesome pics! I think Matt said you were the 4th pic in the DB? I was pulling for you and Matt and Ron to be the first but Mr. Irish got the job done. Matt said he saw you, glad you guys met up.

Thanks Nik. Yeah, wasn't really shooting for getting the first pic in the d'base. I was leaving that to the PHL Boys. My main goal (of course) was hammering out the 4 1/2 rolls of K64.

Why not Mike?  confused

You have many a great pic here. I figured you would be in the fray top honors on that shot. Even though that livery leaves a lot to be desired. Was hoping to see one of the locals get it.
