Airnikon has about 5% of all pics on the entire site.. (i think)
anyways, #200,000 is mine.. heehee... remember my name, you'll see it again
im kidding, huge congrats from me! for my money Airnikon, your the best of the best. Whenever i show my buddies or anyone else the pictures on this site, i usually start by typing "AIRNIKON" in the keywords, and say something along the lines of "now those are good pics"
PS.. i should be on a plane home right now, instead im stranded thanks to the company i work for, united.... its hard to fly the friendly skies when the pilots refuse to fly the planes... oh well

Uh, I hate to say this, but that photo is NOT number 100,000. The real # 100,000 will come probably tommorrow as they are up to 99,936 now.
See my post below about the photo # Discrepency. The Corrections Editor said that although 102,000 have been uploaded so far, about 3,500 were removed, so there are actually less than 100,000 online right now.

Let's put it this way ....
AirNikon had the 100,000th photo added to the database.
The time when Airliners.net has 100,000 photos on the database AT ONE TIME is yet to arrive ... and assuming that we don't remove any other photos between now and then (and I have a list of 8 duplicates & 1 old/bad scan awaiting approval for deletion at the moment), that honour should go to photo #103812 ... but if I get the go-ahead to do the deletions before then, then it will be #103821 -> and whichever photo it is will only retain its "100,000th" status only as long as no photos prior to it in the list are not deleted!
All of which is why it's better to focus on the 100,000th database upload, which is a static milestone. So, once again, Well Done, AirNikon!
We are, nevertheless, obviously looking forward to having 100,000 photos online!
