Man oh man, those engines are huge, but I have never seen a picture that would have them so huge. I mean this is almost unreal. Nice pic though!

Its because you cannot see the fuselage! It is much bigger in comparison which makes the engines look smaller. Your eyes are comparing the engine with the people, and thus it looks exceptionally large. Im sure if you have the same angle with a GE90, it will look even bigger.

The engines on the 340-300 are not very large at all. The engine in the picture is far in the forefront versus the people. The photo taker used a small apeture to keep everything in focus. It's just a optical illusion.

That just looks huge because the people are so far behind it.

The question is, has anyone seen a similar picture with the GE90's in it. That would be an amazing site to see!

If an A343 hairdryer looks that big, imagine a 777 engine! Now that would look cool!

Justin told me he cunningly photoshopped a GE90 onto the wing of a C150, masked against a sunset diorama he has in his kitchen.

There's no way it would be possible to get such an angle and DOF in real life.

It takes a big man to admit they are wrong, and I am not a big man.
