AIRLINERS.NET CREW SITE ADMIN
Hi photographers,
Even though I am somewhat on a break due to problems with hands and wrists caused by too much computer work, I have finished the photo comment and rating stats that I promised you a long time ago.
You can access the stats under the "Photo Comments & Ratings" button on the MyPhotos page.
Try it out and let me know what you think. Note that you can click on some headlines to change the sort order.
Regards,
Johan
Working on the site from morning 'till night that's livin' alright (1997-2007)

Nice addition, I like it. I had comments on photos I never looked at. Very cool.

Thank you, Johan, for making it work!
Quick question - when clicking "Back to MyPhotos start page" at the bottom of that page, I will get back to MyPhotos logon page just like what that link says. However, can we just go back my section without logon again, like what the button "Back" does in "Upload Queue Statistics" section?

When all the myphotos tools use the "new" authentication system this problem will vanish. Until then a re-login is needed (for security) to go back.

any chance of some better screening of the comments? some of them are absolutely beyond a joke, surely the comments should relate to the subject? i've read some that make me wonder if they have been written from a psych ward....
nice idea with the new feature though.

I volunteer if you need someone to screen comments! I have a bit of time on my hands.

Interesting to read the discussion on this one as to weather or not it is a model!
That's hilarious! These guys are talking about it like it's a flight sim screenshot:
Quote: The realistic textures and the flawless modeling, produce what is ultimately a trick to the eye: is that a real plane???!!! That's what it's all about isn't it? As real as it gets.
Quote: Very realistic, hope the panel would be like this.
Must have been linked to from an FS site.
Quote: The clarity of detail and good composition showing the aircraft from the angle most people will ever see! from the ground!
If this is a model and not a real photo then it is amazing!!!
Thanks for adding this feature, Johan. Very convenient.

Long live the A330!
25 QANTAS077: which is why the comments should be screened a little more properly so our photos don't end up becoming a fairground attraction for kids who like to
26 Fergulmcc: I have to agree with Monty on this, as nice as it is to get good comments on your photos I do think that some are really a joke. I can just imagine u
27 Dendrobatid: Fergul, Is that a challenge ? When looking for comments on my photos I always felt like I was trawling for hits, somehow cheating. This is a great ad
29 Gary2880: if it is possible to get photo comments in the myphotos section, would it not be easy in there to have a little X beside the comment to deleat any you
30 Willo: ....seems simple enough, just disallow comments in the first place, otherwise, be prepared to take the rough with the smooth.
31 Linco22: Sounds like a great idea. I dont have any comments. Nice feature anyway Johan Colin
32 Minoeke: Just great! Thanks, Johan. Greetings, Wim
33 FL350: Great to see all the comments on our pics, it gives a warm feeling reading them. Quite nice improvement Johan, keep up the good vibe Cheers Fabrice
