In February 2004 a Airside Visit was available at a cost. My understanding is that this is now not available. As I will be in Bangkok early next week are there other locations in addition to the viewing deck in Terminal 1?
sorry to bug you, but I've also been looking for info on spotting in BKK, so if you wouldn't mind sending that E-Mail to me, I'd greatly appreciate it! Thank you!
Nice, a bunch of comedians! The reason I sent Speedbird an e-mail was so he could reply to me with his which I would then reply to with an attachment with a map to a decent spotting area. If you guys are interested, please send me an e-mail requesting same and I will be glad to respond. You know how to reach me thru this system.
Other than that, the Terminal viewing area, 4th floor International Terminal One is good but only in the afternoons re. light conditions. The AOT have stopped the airside access. I thought I had it arranged (for a fee, of course) however when it came down to delivering, I was denied and told they no longer do escorted airside visits.

RAMP spotting at Don Muang Airport is not possible anymore!
Other opportunities are the viewing deck at Terminal 1 or you can go for some approach shots in front of 21L and 21R
No need to give your email I will place the map here in the forum
Every taxidriver in Bangkok can bring you to this spot.
You can make this kind of photos if the weather is nice.
