Well, at least the first DEN-LAS run that is. On January 3rd, myself, Jason Thacher, and Greg Rosenthal will be flying the 7:05 to LAS and arriving back in DEN at 8:30 or so, planning on doing a day's spotting around LAS. Anybody interested should definetly book yourself a seat, or just meet us in LAS.

Ok, the flight numbers are 743 going out (dep 7:05 arr 8am), and 854 coming back in (dep LAS 5:35pm arr DEN 8:25pm). I believe it will be the first scheduled WN flight departing DEN since 1986, and I've just booked myself on it

I'm sorry, but my agent handles it with a stamp, and only between 2pm and 4pm on saturdays and by appointment only. We're pretty booked up right now

We're working on that, gonna be an all-white 737 with the signatures of every a.net member, drawn such that from a distance it looks like my camera lens
Quoting United737522 (Reply 7): Hey, anyone know what gates are going to be used, as far as I know, open gate space at DEN right now is rare
They're using TZ's gate, plus the empty gate across from it.

I have seen a few roll through there actually. When I was working in the tower, I know I saw a few others on different occasions. In fact there is alot of odd traffic that comes through DEN for a variety of reasons that you never hear about on here.
I really don't see what the big deal is, all they are doing is taking the nice looking ATA planes away and bringing the ugly Puke colored planes in to run similar routes.

That's what you think. F9 is matching all fares. Fly to LAS and PHX for $139.80 on F9. MDW from 150. Pretty easy decision if you aren't an aviation geek.

Ahh, the marketing misconception... Per mile Frontier is cheaper actually according to the DOT. There may be 5-10 pax on their flights that pay the cheaper advertised price but the rest of the people on that bird are dropping just as much, and probably more than pax on other airlines. Besides, their planes are ugly, and you have to fight for your seat. That is worth at least a few bucks in my opinion.
