I fear I've lost my objectivity with this one, I like it so much... Question is, is the image quality there?

Thanks!

Mark.

Wow, that looks identical to one someone else posted just recently. It doesnt' cut it for me. too much grain, and it is underexposed.

That's a very nice view Mark! My first reaction was - too much sky, why not cropping to a 3:2 aspect ratio.

In terms of quality, I am not sure that it will be rejected. I guess it's one of those cases where it depends on the screeners' preferences.

If it was my pic, I would give it a try; but that's only if you don't mind too much about acceptance ratios...

Good luck!

Yes, I was stood next to Bubbles when we both shot this departure.

Hello Mark,

This is a lovely photo, as was Hongyin's.

But I think you are pretty much in the same boat as he was - the quality just may not be there for A.net. For me key is the rear and tail, which just doesn't look sharp enough. I would say there are also other areas of the image that would call into question the overall quality of the shot.

It is a great shame, but I would suggest you have a less than 50% chance of success with it.

But who knows...........

Take good care.

Paul

Hi Mark,

Nice shot! I love it very much as the one that I took, and brought here to discuss recently. Your shot is ALMOST identical to mine. However, I could not link my photo here for reference.

Talking about this shot, I think it may be suffering the same problem as mine - quality. Just like what Paul pointed out, the rear and tail give a really bad impression that the quality isn't there.

Really? I didn't realize another A.net spotter standing beside me then. At that time, I was taking photos with Mr Jian Tan, also a new photographer of A.net. Hope next time, we could say "hello" to each other!

Hi Hongyin; not exactly next to you, I was one of the three photogs standing a little higher up Fedex hill behind you. For sure, next time I'll say Hi!

Yes, you're probably right! On another note, do you recognise this one Paul?

Hello again Mark.

That 330 is a real beauty - I hope it gets the notice it deserves.

You are very welcome for the help, and it was very nice of you to mention it. Feel free to get in touch at any point if you think there are other opportunities for me to help out.

All the best.

Paul
