Hey all, I shot an old Vought A-7 Corsair today, its still in full Oklahoma ANG colors which it used to fly under. It is now own by the Tulsa Tech. Center. Who do I put as operator? scramble.nl brings it up as this:
71-0297 OK A-7D D.208 Tulsa i/a apr00 Tulsa Technology Center
Danny
Not enough info for me to decide.
Is it a flying aircraft?
If preserved it should be....I think
Serial (note, not reg) 71-0297
Operator USAF
Code OK Categories, Military and preserved.
If it is a flying aircraft then its Civil Reg (note, not Serial) should be included with the serial as a Code, ie 71-0297/OK for the tail code
It would then be untitled with (Tulsa Technology Centre) in brackets...note correct speelling (LOL) (any other speelling mistaks are delibreate) and it would then be a Warbird
I am never very happy adding the Base Code as an aircraft Code, here OK as in Oklahoma, but that seems to be the way it is needed here

Ok, here is the pic. I know it doesn't fly anymore, they may use it for some kind of avionics program or something. I really don't know. Here she is.
