To get to PBI, take the Southern Blvd exit off I-95 and head west. About half a mile later you'll get to Australian Avenue, turn right. You'll loop around the end of the runway and after a quarter mile when you're just in the middle of where the end of the runway would be, turn left and you will get onto the perimeter access road. Follow this road around to the left (you will be paralleling Australian and Southern) and after you pass several of the general aviation hangars a clearing will open where the cross runway is. Turn immediately into the viewing park when you get to this clearing after the last hangar.

For MIA, take the 25th street exit off 826 and follow it all the way east to the holes, the road will practically end and you can't miss them. You can also go the end of the road near El Dorado furniture by following the access roads to the southern end of the airport and turning left onto 12th street east.

Your assumptions about FLL were correct, the top of the Hibiscus garage or the viewing park at the opposite end of the field near I-95 are best.

Hope this helps!

Eldorado is on NW 72 AVE and about 13 ST, NW. This gets you views of RWY9

The FLL viewing park is off of Perimeter Road on 39th Street and there are speakers there broadcasting the tower frequency. Just take Griffin Road to Perimeter, follow that along past 42nd street and at the end, make a left. The road will make a 90-degree turn and the first right will be 39th.

For PBI, there is a good area on Military Trail where the planes are on very short final. The area I go to sometimes is at the lower right corner in the parking area right off the little side road shown in the photo below. However, you shouldn't stay there for long since problems may occur. Most of the times I went there there was no problem but you never know. If a 767 is landing, that is a good place to be but then check out some other good (and safer) spots.

You can also get some good views from the top of the parking garage. However, one of the best places is the viewing park US333 mentioned. Also on Perimeter Road is the 391st Bomb Group parking area, where you can get some good 9L touchdown views.

Try the SpottersWiki,

MIA: http://www.spotterswiki.com/index.php?title=Miami_International_Airport_%28MIA/KMIA%29

Unfortunately there is no info yet for FLL and PBI.
It's only been online for a few days, so hopefully one of the local spotters can update it ? After all, it is a wiki. Everybody can add, edit and correct info. Try it.

FROM I-95
Exit on Griffin Rd (WEST, go under the I-95), take the next right Ravenswood Rd and continue to SW 42nd (Lee Wagener Blvd), take a right here and continue over I-95 via a bridge. After the bridge you come to a STOP sign and a 4 way crossing. Take a left and follow the road. Make another left at the "T" intersection and follow the road (now you are going west, then the road turns to the north, to the right), a few meters after that turn make a right on SW 39th St...50mts more and the viewing area (parking space) will be to your right and runway 9L will be on your left.

ATC is piped on a loud speaker. Sunrise to Sunset open times.
