Hi all

how are you. I had this one rejected for bad motive

http://www.pbase.com/gary2880/image/52690370

with a personal message of badcrop. Maybe because I didn't crop it at all I don't know. Anyway I was wondering if this one is better,

http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v504/Gary2880/img_6039gts2.jpg

cuts off the half wheel, the little space on its backside little closer on the top and right in general.

Thanks for your help

Gary

What is the aircraft in the background, about to touch down?

You cut off a bit of the fuselage on the right. Also crop a bit more on the left, directly to the left side of the engine. Then I think you should be fine.

additional: I would try to show the whole fuselage (also on top) try to crop a bit more on the downside ....

Robin

PS: the 1st would be awesome, if cropped correctly.

Nice shot. The nose gear reminds me of a certain JetBlue A320. Wink

I think your second crop is a bit better, but it still may not work. It's probably one of those things that will come down to the individual screener. It would probably be better if you could crop wider, but it sounds like the first version was uncropped.

The safe option would be to crop close in to the nose, but then you'd lose the nice effect under the starboard engine.

Long live the A330!

yea i just checked the original and the one on my Pbase is the dimensions that came out of the camera

i could maybe take a bit more off the top to get rid of the horizontal tail but i think my aspect ratio would go off whack. I think the 2nd option is as much as im happy with taking off the left and right of frame keeping what i wanted in the first place. i liked the framing with the logo and the light on the left wing

P.S. it looks like the spell checker has just gone belly up again so im sorry if that was painful to read.

Hey all,

I really like the pic. I would, as mentioned, have all of the fuselage showing.

I think it would stand more of a chance on the first pic rather than the crop of the second.

Good luck with it. It's a really nice pic. The whirly effect under the starboard engine gives it that little bit extra.
