Hey guys. Went to ABE with a friend, where VERY few pictures have been taken, and took some shots with a point-and-shoot that had 105mm of zoom. I figured the pictures could be a little crappier since there are only 12 shots of ABE in the database and no recent ones, but I guess not. Any advice?

Thanks guys.

I like both of them but they are a little dark.

Theyre kinda grainy in both the sky and the gray aircraft. I honestly dont think they'll be accepted, at least not without a lot of work.

There are 3 simple rules for making a perfect landing every time. Its a shame that no one knows what they are.

Thanks guys. Got another one rejected, also for quality. I may as well just quit, haha. Guess my biased eye is no good. Hopefully my new camera in a week will give me better luck. I'm getting a Konica Minolta Z6 cuz my parents refuse to buy me a real SLR. Oh well.

Never a good idea... standards lower for rarity, not scarcity.

It could be said that one man's scarcity is another's rarity  Wink

Additionally, it could be said that one man's rarity is another man's damn puddlejumping CRJ that lands every five minutes in PHX...

A screener recently said that leeway is given to rare aircraft, not rare locations.

Which does strike me as being a little strange, as priority screening was given to a few shots of very ordinary stuff at DSA when it opened back in April.

I think a more broad decision of whether or not a shot is "rare" should be made, other than how many shots of that reg. there are in the db.

Just my 2 cents worth.

Regards,

Tim.

Obviously missing something....

My suggestion. Submit them to Jetphotos.net

You do not have anal screeners there.

I'm glad to see some ABE shots too !
