Your friend should upload them under his/her own photographer name/profile. You can't upload them under your name.

I think but may be wrong that you are not allowed to up-load shots "on behalf" of another photographer. You have to upload your own work and your work only. If your friend wants to up-load then he will have to create his own account, then he can up-load his work.

I am afraid I can not help you with that one my friend. Here is the quote from the reject reasons page:

Quote:
PHOTOG
Something about your photo(s) or the attached information lead us to believe that you may not be the actual photographer of this photo.

You may get this message especially if the photograph appears to be a "high production-value" photograph, such as air to air shots requiring significant airline cooperation and expense. You must have photographed the photos yourself or hold the copyright in another way to add them to Airliners.Net. This is very important due to the copyright issues involved.

If you want to upload photos taken by friends or relatives, email us and we'll let you know what to do. To upload photos you do not own the copyrights to is a violation of international copyright laws and may cause huge fines or even jail, depending on severity and country.

Probably does not help you much but that is the site definition for that rejection.

Regards .. Jid.

Possibly dumb question, but my mom is going to give me some pictures she shot of aircrafts in the 60's. Can I upload them under my name? I know for a fact that she won't upload anything since she does'nt know even what internet is. Maybe I should specify in the remarks that they were taken by somebody else?
thanx and happy new year to all Big grin

without seeing the photos maybe F70 has some air to air shots and the screeners weren't sure if they belonged to you? If you work in a publishing house and get perks I guess its a possibility. Not sure what the procedures are to go about proving a photo is yours.

If that's the only way I might just do that, but if I could avoid it it would be better. If not, we always have myav  Wink
