Hi people,
i need a suggestion. I hope next April to came one week in SFO and would like also spotting from the millbrae avenue park but my camera has not a so good zoom to reach the 2 runways on the sea. Which lens in ur opinion do u need if i want to buy a new camera?
And how are now the spotting possibilities from the park?
thanx very much
Alberto

I think for the 1s you can get by with 200-300mm, as for the 28s, a 400mm and a lot of luck with heat haze. Heat haze can be a problem on the 1s as well. Good luck, SFO is an awesome setting, albeit a little tough conditions wise.

I have a friend that spots at SFO (about a mile away) He lives up on the hill in Milbrae he uses a 300-1000mm lens on a canon rebel ti.
