Gday all,

For quite some time now ive been hanging out big time to get some photos out over the wing of a 747 that i can use for my desktop. I definately wanted to get a shot of the 743 rather than the 744.

Because of the fact that im such a MASSIVE fan of the wing shots, i wanna see all yours!!!.

Below are two that i took during my flight from Melbourne to Sydney. The colors in the first one blew me away as the sun rose. It was taken at about 0630.

So, if youve got any shots out over the wing of any plane at all id love to see them!!!!.

Here are mine.

What a great topic Davus! Phat stuff indeed!

Just last weekend on my flight to Melbourne I was asked by my travelling companion "what ARE you doing" when I got up inflight with my camera. I said I was going to take a wing shot, she came with me and had a look through the L2 door of the 747-400 we were on and agreed that it did make a good photo!

While not from that flight, here's a couple of my personal favourites!

I must admit these shots really do appeal to me as well and those who have taken shots with the window included as a sort of frame, keep those coming, that makes for a great effect. Well heres my additions, nothing special compared to the others above though..
