I have received an E-mail today from a company wanting a high res copy of a photo I have on this site. It is to be used in a magazine which is published every 6 months with a print run of 55,000+ copies.
They have asked me for a price. To be honest I am stuck and don't know how much to ask for.
It is a well known reputable company.
Thanks for any help
Phil

Quoting INNflight (Reply 1): Unique, or with 20 similar ones in the database?
Makes a big difference.
Not always. If it's what the client wants it doesn't make the slightest bit of difference if it's rare or not. I've sold pics that are not particularly rare. Sometimes the only reason clients choose a photo is because it's the most recent one in the database and no other reason.
