Still struggling to have my first flying shot in the db, can anybody tell me how to improve this one and if you think I have a shot this time.

The only thing missing, IMHO, is a bit of sharpening.

I agree, a bit of USM and you are there. Sharpen the aircraft only, not the whole image.
