Hi all,

I have a picture of the DCA tower that got accepted a week or two ago but went into the database under someone else's name and then it got lost in that group of 269 photos. When I sent it in the second time with the caption mentioning that it had already been accepted, but it got rejected anyway for Angle. I guess the first time was a fluke.

It is a little tricky because the tower gets narrower until the larger part of it near the top, and I forget what I ended up using to level it. But I think it looks good as is.

Anyway, could anyone help me out and determine which way this tower needs to be slightly rotated? I thought I had it right after one rejection and sent it in and it got in and now it's back out.

apparently the screeners don't like you if they were willing to accept it under a different name! nahh, it was probably a fluke. I would rotate it maybe .25 cw. It is a great photo of a nice modern tower!

I think it may take more than .25 cw, perhaps as much as 1.0. I would keep a careful eye on the antennas to the right as well.

Alright thanks I'll rotate it to the right little by little and see what looks best. Sleekjet I somehow did not even notice those antennas before you mentioned them.

Those antennas will help you level the photo much better. When editing photos before uploading them always look at these type of objects as they can help you with the levelling part.

I have to say it looks level to me, any further cw rotation would not look right. I also had one of my shots disappear in that batch of 269. I re-submitted mine and e-mailed the screeners, as asked and it was back in the database within a few hours.
