In fact, the photo is almost the frame I shot, cropped by only about 10% I'd say.
I had this motive in mind for quite some time, but as 757's look ugly from this angle, the 738 is just perfect. Wouldn't be the same without winglets, and I have to disagree with Nick, I like the new HV colors.

Great shot! There's no better way to describe Innsbruck (aviation-wise) and it make me really very impatient to go there as well!
I must say that I also prefer such kind of shots - the view of the photographer - over the ones that only show aircraft which are totally cropped and centered... I don't think this composition can be improved, well done!

I have to say, I was shocked to see such a great photo on display at this restrictive website. It clearely breaks the "rules". I guess the screener who accepted it has a mind of his own!
