For those of you who have sent your cameras in for the D70 recall, how was your experience?

How long did it take to fix and return?

I sent my camera in today via UPS and hope to get it back by March 12 for Spring Break. Is this realistic? They say it takes 5 days to fix + shipping, but I doubt I will get it back that quick.

He just ate the big one! Hog!...get away from that thing!! Just get away from it!

They are very serious people.

Stay clam and be patient. You will have your camera by then.

I got mine back in five days door-to-door. The camera was back in my hands before the confirmation letter!

The D70 repairs are not locally fixed. They are shipped to Kentucky for repair. Mine took less than three weeks.

I had to send mine to New York.
