I just uploaded a shot of N652AW. Seems to be the first HP 320 in new colors. I couldn't find a pic in the DB, all were the old HP colors. Does it qualify for priority? I also changed the airline to US after autocomplete gave me HP. Was this right?

I meant that regi, 652. Seeing that it is just that registration that doesn't have a pic with new colors in the DB I thought it may get priority but thanks for your concern Corey.

I wasn't sure if you were talking about the new US colors or the retro schemes that are coming out.
I don't imagine that new colors on a reg count for priority.

That will not qualify as a priority screening. Only new planes and/or liveries get in. This is not a new livery. It may be new for this particular airframe, but we have seen this livery before so it is not new.

For the most part, new planes don't even get priority, it has to be a brand new aircraft type.

I saw those! They were nice, I can't wait to see who nails the first one in the DB here. Hopefully a nice close up. (biggrin}

That's what I meant.  Wink

New type for a specific airline will do as well.

Perhaps also first type of a specific airline to get the livery. For instance priority screening for the first US 767, the first US 320, the first US 757 etc. Not to sure of that.

From another thread, hopefully I can find a way to get this clearly displayed somewhere

Priority Screening

So, as a reminder, priority screening will only be provided for:

* New types
* New colour schemes
* New airlines
* Accidents / incidents (where it is clearly illustrated by the photo)
* Special events (e.g. formal retirement seremonies for a type)
* Combinations of the above (e.g. first of new type with existing airline)

Priority screening will NOT be provided for:

* New registrations (unless they also fall into one of the above categories)
* First visits of types/airlines/aircraft that we already have in the database to an airport they haven't visited before
* Incidents where there is no apparent visualisation of the incident in the photo
