I opened my photo page to see how my uploaded shots were doing, when my eye felt on the que numbers!!

This number is getting lower and lower, and I think this is a very good thing!

But what is the cause of this sudden drop?
I hope the screeners do get some sleep though  Wink

Many thanks to Johan and his crew for this!

have a good day, Stefan van Hierden

Damn it Eric,

I have never been "surpriced" either but one fact I am pretty sure of.. Morvious' English is much better than your Dutch!!

If your camera sends text messages, that could explain why your photos are rubbish!

He's blissfully unaware.

Anyway, could it be we've created a new expression!?
All we have to do now, is settle on what it's supposed to mean. scratchchin

A lot of screeners doing a lot of work. The queue was around 12k a week ago, now it's under 9k!

Hi there,

I was pleasantly surprised as well! cloudnine
While waiting for the results of my pictures being screened, my home-PC crashed...(this gave me a not so pleasant feeling  headache  ). Then, I negotiated a "slot"  crowded  on my kids' PC and found out that 4 out of 5 made it (Number 5 was rejected for being too soft, I will have to review that when my own PC is repaired...the screen from my kids' PC is not that good)! This is way above my acceptance ratio (I only had 10 in so far and about 12 rejections). It all proofs - I guess - that I am learning from all the good advise from the screeners and other photographers on this forum!! Thanks again to everybody!

PS: I am now desperately waiting  worried  for my PC to be repaired so that I can fill up my queue of 5 again for another round...

Best regards,

Walter

Because I'm an ass and like to joke about things like that. Really has nothing to do with your language skills I just like to poke fun. All in good fun anyway right?
