I find it very rare to see a dust spot on anything other than very blank areas, with our photography, generally the sky. Because of this I use the magic wand, selct the sky and just equalise that. If you do that you can't miss the dust spot, to the left of the e on the fin at about 10 o'clock above the smaller of the two chimneys.
Once you know where to look, you can see it without equalising.
